Robert, Is it just not formatting or is it giving you an error when entering the field?
If it is an error make sure that you are running the most current build of 7.5 since there was an issue with the autoskip setting and format masks that has been corrected with the most current build. If you are not running the most current, then you can SET AUTOSKIP OFF and see if that solves your problem.
