Bernie:
I have run into problems with other software when using more that one "." in
a name; in fact, many will not accept it, I believe it is a leftover from
the DOS days. As a rule I use "_" to separate portion of a name and use the
period only to add an extension; as I indicated, I believe that this was
requirement in DOS and a recommended naming convention for Windows as it
uses this characters to identify the file type. I would suggest that you
name your file xx_yy.zz and you will not have problems such as the one you
encountered.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - copy problem

Try this --
Create a file called xx.yy.zz put some dummy info into it.

then copy xx.yy.zz to some other folder
I got xx.zz the yy component disappeared

Are we not able to copy a 3 component file in a command file?
