Thanks Larry,
I was setting it to null in the form "after start eep"
That doesn't seem to work.
But setting it to null prior to entering the form, it works.
Hmmmmm. Is this a bug? anyone confirm?

Bernie:

I am using that same type of radio button variable on a form and I set
variable to null before I enter the form and it works like a charm.

I have the form based on a dummy table and I enter the form using edit using
formname it comes up with nothing checked

Subject: [RBG7-L] - Variable radio group

I have a group of 2 choices.
When entering the form, the previous choice selected has the dot.
I set the variable = null after entering form, but that doesn't seem to have

any effect.

How can I avoid having a dot in any choice in this variable radio group?
