Hi Mike,
I simply want to control if the object will print or not on the
report at print time. The property is there but you cannot assign an object
ID in reports thus it cannot be controlled via the PROPERTY command. Maybe
my question should be: Does the PROPERTY command apply to reports? If the
answer is NO then, I can live with it using variables with (IFEQ(....)) in
the report. If the answer is YES then I rather use the object's visible
property.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE ......
Manuel

Remember, a control is still an object that is instantiated along with its'
container. Setting a property on a report to VISIBLE='FALSE' doesn't mean
that it will give up its' _Real_Estate_ on the report.
You might want to think about that eventuality before hanging your hat on
that functionality.
Consider a Memo or RTF control with a page and a half of text.
