Hello everyone,

We outdid ourselves this year for Project Bundle-Up. http://www1.salvationarmy.org/use/www_use_wpa.nsf/0/547F1D1D8D70C27880256D34006B3638?opendocument

As of Monday morning, we had gathered over $2,500.  With Razzak's generous matching contribution, we will be over the $5,000 mark!!!!

And, donations will continue to be taken until the end of the week during the Advanced RBG 7.5 and R:Web classes.

Which means that everyone out there on the list who have either blundered or otherwise owe a contribution to Project Bundle-Up (and you alone know who you are!) still have time to put a check in the mail!

Gunnar, with an absentee bid for $100, won the White Sox jersey brought by Karen Tellef at the live auction Sunday night.  He also had pledged another $100 earlier, after the loss by "his" European Solheim Cup golf team to the Americans in Bill Downall's home town of Indianapolis. That money is also safely in the US and on the way to RBTI and Project Bundle-Up.

All checks should be made to: Project Bundle-Up and mailed immediately to:

R:BASE Technologies, Inc.

Murrysville, Pennsylvania 15668-1854
U.S.A.

THANK YOU!

P.S.:  A clarification, if I may, to give credit where credit is due.  Although my original idea was to bring something to the conference to either be sold or auctioned, it was Sami’s original idea to ask everyone to bring something to sell or to auction.  As a result, many brought interesting items which were offered in a silent auction (both Adriana’s and Sami’s suggestion), while—time being of the essence after Sunday’s dinner—half a dozen items were placed in a live auction and became part of the evening’s entertainment!  Special thanks to Mark Kwoka for bringing each lady attending both a Vera Wang t-shirt and perfume sample and several items to put in the live auction (I hope Mark and his family are well after hurricane Wilma crossed their state).  Thanks to Karen Tellef for the White Sox t-shirt, Adriana Montano for the Astros t-shirt and mini-helmet, Dawn Oakes for the lovely Lenox vase and Frank Taylor for the lobster and steamer dinner.  And, finally, thanks to the SWORBUGs for adding at the last minute, a collectors’ edition, signed CD of the SWORBUGs original hits!  Many un-signed copies were also distributed for a minimum $10 donation and I don’t know of anyone who didn’t get at least one copy.  My apologies if I forgot anyone and for the length of this message.  Thanks to all J
