Hello Group:

Just got back from the wonderful conference where I picked up a lot of new things.

Thank to Razzack and the other presenters and the dream team  for such an enlightening experience.

The question that I have is this.

I have a form with many tables using a lot of different objects one being the DBGrid which I love.

The problem I am having with the DBGrid is that when I allow the user to add a new row  to the DBGRID from an edit using formname

The focus ends up on the last column that the user was in when they push the add new button.

How do I get focus back to the first column in the DBGRID regardless of what column the user saves the record on.

I have tried skip to column-name and that does not work. Since the DBGRID does not allow component ID on the cells I cannot use this option.

I am using Razzack’s universal Navigation buttons which work on any table that has the focus and I do not want to change that because this forms is using 7 tables and works perfect except for this little challenge.

TIA

Larry Wilson
