Bernie,
Didn't you already recently ask this question? I believe you should SET
EOF
OFF before you write the file.

Subject: [RBG7-L] - ctrl z at end of file
I am creating a text file to send via ftp.
They say I have a ctrl z at the end of the file.
I am creating the file with a bunch of write statements
I have no idea how the ctrl z gets there.
But I have to eliminate it or the recipient cannot process it.
Any ideas?
