Microsoft discontinued RegClean.  It is NOT recommended for use on XP.

For pesky problems like yours (as listed below) I have loded a Microsoft
Utility "RegClean" which checks those  crossed referenced items in the
registrey.  It seem that a lot of garbage gets left after you delete an
application.  You can download RegClean from www.microsoft.com
