I have had no problems using jpg or bmp file types.  For routine
pictures, logos, etc that are smaller in size, the jpg works fine, and I
have actually imbedded about 400 pics in a database with no problem.
They printed out about a 1 inch square and looked ok to reproduce on a
color copier at kinkos.
For clarity on larger pics, I have used a bmp, but I tend to avoid it.

When using the IMAGE CONTROL in 7.1 or 7.5 is there a prefered image 
format?   (  jpg, gif, png, tif, bmp )
