Dennis: You can always have the system/form send him/her and e-mail automatically and then he will get a real Outlook notification or have a quick report printed on his/her printer. I use this approach when we receive a complaint; the form with the details is printed in the printer of the foreman to whom the work request was assigned. When the work is completed and the work order is closed, the system generates an e-mail and sends it to the person that filed the complaint. Javier,

RBase 7.1 I have a Refresh button on my main menu form which redisplays plant summary information. But... what a few users are asking for is an "Outlook" type notification (on the task bar) when users enter a work request so "the planner" can act upon it immediately. Any suggestions? I don't have to send a message to the planner's PC. It's more of a "On Return to this form EEP". TIA, Dennis ...
