Bob: If you are referring to variables or columns in forms, I use the following snippet to change the color of a variable to red when the inventory becomes negative, otherwise it is displayed as green:
IF vpart_left < 0 THEN
PROPERTY vci_part_left FONT_COLOR RED
ELSE
PROPERTY vci_part_left FONT_COLOR GREEN
ENDIF
Where vci_part_left is the Component ID of the variable; it works the same
way for other components.

There was a routine posted here a while back about dynamically changing
colors of a field based on the value, I suspect it has to be a variable.
Is there a simple way to do this? I didn't find any articles in FTE.
