Gunnar / Javier,
Thanks for your suggestions – I will try simplifying the reports. Gunnar, are you able to provide some more details of your ODBC approach ?
Thank you.

John Consider an alternative approach. I use ODBC for my Excel reporting. A typical report has 2 queries defined in excel to my R:BASE database. One for the heading and one for the body. This approach I have found gives me better control of the excel formatting. It also gives my users a possibility to actually use the figures for further calculations.

I am having some difficulty getting reports exported to XLS files to accurately reflect the information in the report. I gathered from an earlier post that this was an area that was still being ‘enhanced’. If anyone has any tips on how to set up a report to increase the accuracy of the final file XLS they would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Regards,
