In preparation for an upgrade to 7.5 next year, I assisted a client’s network consultant last week in transferring their current R:Base 6.1A DOS database and programs to a new server and new Windows XP workstations.
The network consultant showed me how they will be able to use a Microsoft Exchange Public folder to access network files over the web from remote PC’ s. His question, which I could not answer: is it possible for them to also use this folder to access their R:Base data, either in the current version or after upgrading to 7.5. Any one know the answer?
