How this post is on-topic (sort of): I'm selling my Curtlo touring/
trails/commuting bike because I've just acquired a used Rivendell All-
Rounder. I try to own only two bikes at a time, and my other right now
is an AHH, which is a little too similar to this Curtlo (59cm c-t
frame for 700c wheels).

How the Curtlo bike itself is on-topic (sort of): Several components
were purchased from RBW -- Nitto seatpost, stem, handlebars; Brooks
saddle; Sugino crankset, IRD canti brakes, Deore rear derailer, MKS
touring pedals.

Specs below, and photos on my Flickr photostream -- ftrentmeyer --
or try http://tinyurl.com/4jtway.

The nice custom-built frameset alone was about $1,350 when new in
2006,
and this has a very decent overall component set on it. I was asking
$1,700 for the complete bike as described below, with buyer paying
shipping. But now I'm asking $1,550, and I'll pay shipping in CONUSA.
Or contact me offlist and make me a reasonable offer;
I'm a reasonable guy (really).

Made by Doug Curtis in 2006 using True Temper OX Platinum tubing,
Columbus stays,
Richard Sachs NewVex lugs and fork crown, and a Richie-issimo bottom
bracket shell.
Seat tube c-c is 58cm, c-t more like 59cm; top tube is 58cm c-c; chain
stays
are 45cm. Stand-over height at mid-point of the top tube is 32.75"
with
current tires. 135mm rear spacing. Campagnolo Chorus headset.
Two-tone blue and gold, tough powdercoat finish.

Saddle is a lightly used (but slightly scuffed up) Brooks honey B17
Champion Special with copper rails on a Nitto "frog" S-83 seat post.
IRD cantilever brakes. Nitto moustache handelbars,
Shimano road brake levers, Nitto dirt-drop stem, Suntour power
ratchet
friction shifters. Sugino XD triple crankset, MKS touring pedals,
Deore rear derailer, 8-speed (12-32, I think) cassette. Mavic A719
36-hole rims, Deore hubs, and lightly used Conti Travel Contact 700x37
tires.

Thanks for looking.
