Took the first real ride today on my new wheels. Rich built Velocity Aeroheats
laced to Phil hubs and a 7 speed freewheel. They roll so much smoother than the
original equipment units! My riding buddies all tell me that they look great,
but I'm still getting used to them. Black anodized rims on a Ram? I've ordered
black anodized skewers, but the fashion advisory board here tells to stick with
the old school chrome and looped nuts. The bike came new in Jan of '07, so it's
2 years old, and still looking great. Rides that way too, after 4,000+ miles.
