Variation on an older theme, in part prompted by the Sam-as-mountain
bike and Atlantis sizing threads. Speculatively speaking, how are
y'all seeing the AHH to SH comparison? Historically torn b/w the AHH
and Atlantis, I've read with interest the description of the Sam
Hillborne as a middle ground between these two, but that's probably
limited to the qualities specified by Grant (mid point in tubing, AHH
tire clearance, Atlantis canti-brakes), with Sam falling instead in a
different genus/species with the Bombadil (denominated "slopers," to
borrow a phrase). Seeing a stumpjumper built up to 650b recently also
made me wonder how Sam fits in the family.
