The local 3-speed enthusiasts were similarly alarmed when QBP discontinued Sun CR-18 650A rims awhile back. What they actually did was change the part number, and discontinued the old part number. The rims were as available as they ever were. Anyway, before the confusion was sorted out, I was hoping to score a pile of desirable out-of- production rims for a bargain price, so I called Sun directly. I talked to two or three people there, none of whom seemed to know anything about this wheel size, and one guy even denied that they'd ever made such a thing.
