No problemo... I do it all the time. It only takes a small bit of monkeying around. The "Plus" Ortlieb models (I believe) use the QL2 mounts, which can be repositioned without tools. You'll need to use the larger diameter inserts for the clamps and you might have to turn the lower stabilizer around, so it points "out" rather than "in.".
