If you scroll to the last picture on the referenced page for the Nigel Smythe Big Box bag, and click on it, a picture comes up with a caption: * **Here's it mounted on a J-rack. Basically a Top Rack (R-14) with some extra hardware that allows front-mounting as shown, and bigger loads. We'll have more details later, but basically---this is in the works, and it works really well.*
On So, it's a Top Rack mounted on the front instead of the rear. This would be useful for someone who wants a front rack, but doesn't have mid-fork bosses and doesn't want to use P-clamps. Horace.
