Kraynick's Bicycle Shop in Pittsburgh, PA has a considerable stash of Non-Aero
shimano hoods. the last time I bought a pair they were around seven or eight
dollars.

He doesn't do mail order. Email me off-list if you need me to inquire on your
behalf.

Subject: [RBW] Non-Aero Hood Replacements?
To: [email protected]

I took my original non-aero brake levers off my Rivendell a few years
ago because the hoods were disintegrating, and I had some aero levers
in my parts drawer off another bike. I've decided to replace my
brakes with the wide-profile Tektros, and that has me thinking about
putting my non-aero levers back on. Are there hoods available
somewhere? They're the Shimano Dura-Ace from Rivendell circa 2000. I
noticed Velo Orange has Cane Creek hoods, but the web site says they
are for Dia Compe levers and "may fit others." Does anyone know if
they would work?

Thanks,
