Kraynick's Bicycle Shop in Pittsburgh, PA has a considerable stash of Non-Aero shimano hoods. the last time I bought a pair they were around seven or eight dollars.
He doesn't do mail order. Email me off-list if you need me to inquire on your behalf. To: [email protected] Date: Friday, January 30, 2009, 10:20 AM I took my original non-aero brake levers off my Rivendell a few years ago because the hoods were disintegrating, and I had some aero levers in my parts drawer off another bike. I've decided to replace my brakes with the wide-profile Tektros, and that has me thinking about putting my non-aero levers back on. Are there hoods available somewhere? They're the Shimano Dura-Ace from Rivendell circa 2000. I noticed Velo Orange has Cane Creek hoods, but the web site says they are for Dia Compe levers and "may fit others." Does anyone know if they would work? Thanks, Paul B.
