No interest in a trade, but just a comment on the country bag, which I added
to my gofast recently: I'll put in a plug for this bag. I've used most of
the Carradice canvas saddlebags, the Adam and Banana, the small Berthoud,
and various panniers, and I must say that for day rides, even in colder
weather, the country bag is to my mind the ideal size and shape, not to
mention the quality. It holds a bit more than the Carradice Junior and has
side pockets to boot, one pocket big enough to carry two 650 C ("C") X 1"
tubes, tire levers, saddle bonnet, and a narrow multitool. The other one
holds a big tangled bunch of keys and a cell phone.

The main pocket is big enough for a pair of size 10s, so that I can wear my
old Rivats and change at my destination. And of course it can easily hold
the bulky gloves, neck gaiter, hat and vest that I take off as both I and
the weather warm up (here in high desert ABQ, once the sun comes up the
temperature rises quickly and dramatically). Plus, of course, a sandwich or
two. It will also hold a 24 oz thermos of hot, sweet, milky tea, the ideal
cold weather riding beverage.

The "open upward" and "tuck'behind-the-saddle" design (compared to the
Carrdice "open downward" design) means it fits very nicely and compactly
under the saddle, and that things don't fall out. The large flaps help hold
things in even without inserting a drawstring of any sort.

I do have a question: are the slots in the straps quick releases? I would
guess so, at least, I can't see what else they are for. Anyone?

Altogether the best smallish bag I've used.
