There may be some snow still higher up. Bring plenty of water as there is no water until you get about 25 miles up. Stop and have pie at the top- the cafe is one of the few places that survived the fire in 2003. Watch the turns on the way done- there is a very fast hairpin that has caught me off guard a few times.
