Remember, Cat 1's and 2's are the guys not good enough to be Domestiques
-- and they're only fit to carry the water bottles for the Real Racers.

See, this is what I hate about racing: everybody's a loser, except for
one rider.  And sooner or later, even that Winner cracks.

I'd put my money on Lance-in-his-prime (who knows where he will be this
year?) riding one of your Indian rod brake roadsters against any amateur
racer riding the Latest and Greatest Carbone/Electric/Whatever.

Long as you make 'em all fix their own flats.  I would LOVE to see them
wearing those inflated spare tires in figure 8 form, and _proper_ sun
glasses,
