I've got a 60 on order that will be just clear coated (and I'm super excited about it, this is my first Riv).
Setup will be pretty close to what Rivendell is selling as their complete: lx hubs on mavic a719's with marathons. Campy front and an lx rear running a 9 spd cassette with an XD2 crank. Noodle bars with silver shifters and cane creek levers powering canti breaks I found at the bike swap meet. VO Shiny Steel fenders and a brooks round it out. Nothing too extravagant, but super functional. It will be my commuter and grocery hauler. Hopefully it will take over camping duty (I really want it to be the one bike to rule them all and clear out my garage a bit). I'm putting a top rack and the larger Sackville bag to pull the hauling duty. I'm also toying with the idea of running an xtracycle behind it, has anyone done this with their Riv?
