Hi,

Reluctantly, I am putting my Romulus up for sale. I just took delivery
on a new frameset, which though is different from the Romulus, covers
the ways I use the Romulus for. I might pick up a quickbeam since I
sold me fixed gear bike 2 months ago.

Here is what the romulus is like:

- Riv Romulus frame and fork--excellent conditions, no ding, no
scratch, some minor blemishes near the seatpost clamp. The miles from
the original owner is unknown, but the previous owner rode 11
centuries on it (and nothing else); I put 600 miles on it since I got
the frameset in December 2007, all centuries or training ride miles.
Geometry wise: 57cm seat tube CTT, 56cm toptube CTC
- Chris King gripnut headset
- Phil Wood bottom bracket (i believe it has 108mm spindle; the Sugino
triple crankset goes on properly)
- Sugino Old Logo XD2 crankset 46/36/26
- Shimano ultegra long-cage rear derailleur
- Shimano XTR front derailleur
- Shimano 8-speed bar-end shifters
- Tektro R730 long-reach brakes
- Tektro R200 brake levers
- Nitto Technomic Deluxe stem 110mm
- Nitto Noodle bar 46mm with lime green handlebar cloth tape
- Shimano 600 seatpost
- XT cassette 12-28T
- SRAM 890 8-speed chain
- Rich-build XT wheelset with Synergy rims 36h
- Panaracer pasela tourguard tires 28mm
- Selle Anatomica Clydesdale, dark brown, mint

I also have SKS fenders, other tires (Schwalbe marathon, Pasela
speedblend 32mm), racks (Mark's rack) that we can discuss as part of
the deal

The bike looks great and rides even better. i clean my bike (including
drivetrain) after every ride. Virtually all components have 600 miles
(except for the saddle, which has less than 300 miles). I would like
$1350 for the whole bike as described. I prefer the sell the whole
bike (and a local buyer in the SF bay area would be awesome). Make me
an offer and we can also negotiate on shipping charges.
