I recently had a similar experience regarding my Atlantis. Someone commented they hadn't seen "one of those in decades". When I asked what he meant, he said something about how Atlantis was a famous bicycle from the good old days, didn't I know the history of what I was riding? So I had to tell him, yes, I do, because I'm the original owner and the bike was built in 2003. This guy had some difficulty processing that. When you get used to it, it's quite good fun, and for the most part harmless.
