I have a 110mm bottom bracket and am wondering whether it will work with the Sugino XD2 triple on the Bleriot. Or does it require a 113?
In the crankset description on RBW, it says: "On road bikes with straight (normal) chain stays, mount it on a 107 to 110mm bb. If your bike has bowed-out chain stays like most mountain bikes, it'll need a 113mm." http://www.rivbike.com/products/list/cranks_bottom_brackets#product=12-190 So should I treat the Bleriot as a "road bike with straight (normal) chain stays" or are the stays considered to be "bowed-out" like most mountain bikes? Can I get away with the 110 I already own or should I cough up cash for a new 113?
