I'm pretty sure the rings and freewheel that come stock on the QB are 3/32". In addition to a snugger grip on the gear teeth, the narrower derailleur-type chain should have more lateral flex to better accommodate the slight chainline offsets required to have a 2-sp single speed. Jim
