I don't see this having any effect on cx. or any other non-elite/pro race for that matter. and, really - this is silly. the difference on the podium at the tour of CA stage 6 time trial was 17 seconds (8 seconds from 1st to 2nd) - this seems like too big a spread for any exotic tt bike to overcome, especially over a 15 mile course. 10th place was almost a full minute off, which makes it hard to digest the argument that some teams/riders are at a disadvantage because they don't the budget to buy a bunch of state-of-art TT bikes. when it's matter of seconds, sure the competitive advantage of these bikes makes a difference - but it's not like banning these bikes will level the playing field. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
