So I took the fenders off my Rambouillet and changed out the Ruffy Tuffys for Jack Browns (blue). I did about 105 miles yesterday and the bigger tires felt great. Many of the roads were rough (chipseal) and the JBs were just a much better choice. In the future I'll try JB greens I think or just go back to 700x32 Paselas which will work with my Shimano brakes and SKS p45 fenders. For now I'll leave the fenders off. It's nice having so many choices for tire size.
