Curious if anyone of you have mounted albatross bars upside down. I
had to do this on my Atlantis like clone. I did not want to cut my
steer tube short in case I wanted to change later but I wanted to
duplicate a position I had on a converted mountain bike since it was
so comfortable.....not aero but comfortable to be sure. I'm finding
that my "speed" isn't affected much by how I sit on the bike but my
comfort on longer rides is definitely affected. I am wanting my bike
to function with my work clothing as much as possible and it seems
that a wide saddle and more upright, closer bars allows the use of
regular undies and jeans without the sore backside issues. Any
thoughts or experiences on this are welcomed. I have tried every other
combo B17 drop bars and mustache bars and I am hoping this works
ideally. My commute is between 10 and 40 miles round trip depending on
whether I do a partial auto/bike commute or not in the rainy Northwest.
