My brother, Tim, a friend of his, Bill, and myself completed the Grand Tour Double Century out of Malibu this past weekend. I've posted my write-up here if you care to read. When they put that black stuff on the road to seal a crack, take care when taking corners at speed, this stuff is a little slick. I had my rear wheel slide a bit on some of it during the ride, which surprised the heck out of me. Fortunately, it was just for a few moments and I didn't go down.
