Why didn't you just lend the other riders your Spot and then have them mail it back at the end. I mean now that you got me all hooked on your trip blog and all. ;-)
Anyways, great ride, great stories. I too rode my Rivendell along the stretch from Gunnison to Dolores via Telluride and it was magnificent.
