RBW's brief history already has a collection of discontinued names. Future collectors will enjoy debating and cataloging Little Joes, Baggins, Sackvilles, etc. The same holds true for the various models of bikes. I think they strive (and generally succeed) to consistently provide a selection of useful goods at bearable prices, and that fit in the notion of "fair trade."
Keven's Bag by Smythe has nicer leather straps btw, IMO than the original did. My orig Keven's is hung using some of Acorn's straps. They are good quality, if you need extras, and sold on that outfit's website. ________________________________ From: IPATOM <[email protected]> To: RBW Owners Bunch <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, August 2, 2009 12:24:23 PM Subject: [RBW] Re: No more Baggins Bags? Yes. I had ordered a Baggins big loafer for my Hillborne recently and was told that it was discontinued so I got a Nigel Smith big loafer instead...not sure if the Baggins discontinuance is temporary or permanent but I got the impression that it was permanent....check with Riv to confirm. > > Is Rivendell done with the Baggins line? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
