Nobody will know this, so I'll just tell you (to prevent speculation!).

The rule in this family is: The children don't spend money on the parents
for b'day, Christmas, etc. They have to make something. Both my daughters
like to draw and paint, and I see them in every stroke of their work, so the
deal is: Paintings, note cards, book marks forever. No rule on size, but the
idea is to spend an hour or so, not a week or so. This was one my oldest
(20) did for me, based on one of the photos Jay took of Dave riding in
Marin. You'll see the photo. The painting is watercolor with ink for tree
details. I can't be objective when I look at it. I just love it. There will
be more.
It is unlikely that I'd put anybodyelse's paintings up there. The floodgates
would open, and they'd be hard to remove from circulation when the time came
to refresh the list. There will be others from Katie. Nepotism? You bet! I
can't help it.

Best,

Grant
