Agreed.  On the other hand, I've had no more than 4 flats in over 12,000
miles of riding on Col de la Vie tires, and 7 or 8 in 3,000 miles with
Grand Bois Cypres 700x30s, riding the same roads.  All but one of those
GB 700x30 punctures were caused by bits of glass, some so small I'd have
to call them "tiny" or "miniscule".  The flats with the CdlVs were
caused by a large thorn and three really BIG pieces of glass.

So although nothing [you'd want to ride] could be called "puncture
proof," some tires are clearly more puncture resistant than others.
