>From what I've seen, whenever RBW introduces a new model there are a few who voice their displeasure with the chosen name. And some who even go so far as to say they won't buy the bike on account of the name (sometimes claiming they'd otherwise buy one for sure). Seems bizarre to me but I guess the name of the bike means a lot to some folks. I remember when the Saluki was introduced there were a few who said that they'd never buy the bike because it was a bad name, and they don't like dogs. Something like that anyway. I don't think I'd ever exclude a bike from consideration on account of what it's called (within reason of course... at one point I half expected Ibis to introduce the "FAW-Q" or something). I guess I kind of prefer names like the ones RBW, Surly, and others use as opposed to the generic "RB-1" or the like. But with the reaction to the names, one has to wonder if that wouldn't be a safer way to go though. Boring but safer.
