FYI, I just built up a set of wheels with new Synergy rims, and had no problems seating the bead of my Grand Bois Lierre tires. I put a little soap on the beads to help, of course. The Lierre tires seated up way more easily than they ever did on the ZAC19 rims.
Velocity claims to have fixed the bead distance on new production of the Synergy, and I believe them.
