Are you saying ride quality is independent of material? If yes, then you're

If you're saying because a frame survives RAAM, then it's a good material,
I don't think the thesis is supported because the thesis isn't tested.

If you're saying quality materials and workmanship are important, then I
agree.

Kinda reminds me of when the head of UCI made that comment sometime ago
about all carbon frames being the same (I'm sure I'm not getting that 100%).
