It shaped up to be first class weather here in north Texas, so I loaded up the Hilsen with overnight gear. The great weather generated a lot of interest, the State Park was more crowded than usual, and my favorite campsites were taken. So when I arrived at one of the leftover sites, I discovered that the trees surrounding the it didn't quite work right with my hammock. Pondering my dilemma, I asked myself, "What would Manny do?" What resulted was one of those "this looks right" work-arounds...
