I have 2 frames for sale, both are 1970's era Mondias with chrome
Nervex lugs and
chrome on the fork blades and rear triangle.

One is a Mondia “Super” and is in original condition except for 2
seat
tube graphics and the reynolds 531 stickers on the fork which are
reproductions. This frame is 60cm c-c ST, 59cm c-c TT with a
wheelbase of ~104cm. The “Super” is a sport tourer (Sportif) model
with a little bit of a laid back geometry (possibly 72.5 HT and 72.5
ST,
but that's just a guess). There is a great deal of tire clearance in
the front. In the back a 28-29mm tire is about max to use with
fenders
( 32mm++ w/o fenders). It does take normal reach (long) sidepull
brakes, though Mafac ctr pulls maximize clearance for the rear tire
with a fender. It is full Reynolds 531 tubing throughout, so the
bike
is very comfortable. The top tube does have some touch up paint on
it, but overall the condition is quite good for it’s age. Paint is
fair to good and the chrome is good to very good. I have owned this
bke since ‘91, and it's by far the most versitile bike I've ever
owned.

The second frame is a Mondia “Special” that has had a recent respray
(not original paint scheme).
Again, the paint, chrome lugs and trim is in very good condition. I
believe the
“Special” is also full 531. The main difference is that the Special
has a longer wheelbase (~107cm), and it has an even more slack ST.
This frame is larger at 62cm c-c ST, 63cm c-c TT. This frame will
take
considerably larger tires with fenders (32mm is the largest I’ve
tried
with fenders, and I ‘m not sure what the max tire size is either with
or without fenders).

Both bikes have a single pair of braz-ons on the fork and rear
dropouts
for the fenders and racks to share. Both take and English BB and a
26.4 seatpost.

I have a large variety (ie.Campy NR) of parts from age appropriate to
more current. I will sell either as just the frame/fork, partially
built or full build.

Attached are a number of photos of the blue “Super”. I only have one
of the copper “Special”, but if you are interested I can provide any
additional photos
that you would like. BTW, the tires shown on the blue “Super” are
cyclocross knobbys, so there is more clearance then appears in the
photos.
