Back in 2007, I bought a Bleriot frame, had S&S couplers installed, and built
it up. My gruppo is the "shiny silver Shimano compatible" set. It looked very
nice and shiny, and was meant to be my rando bike. My then-commuter/rando
bike, a Sekai 2400, died a horrible death just before I built up the Bleriot.
So Bleriot became my commute bike as well.

Riding buddy: "you are going to commute on your RIVENDELL?" Me: "it is a bike.
 get over it."

13000 miles later, one wreck (new tubes! new paint!), still going strong, and
it gets ridden everywhere. And, yes, it does stick out a bit among all the
"commuter/beater" bikes. I don't care.

Message: enjoy your bike as is!
