Brookshire, TX (outside of Houston) on March 16th. We got what they call
down here a "blue norther" just as we were about to depart Sunday morning,
aka a pretty strong cold front. Dropped the temp from 70 to 40 in about an
hour and the wind was howling.

I was going to try to ride another 600 before the weather got unbearably
hot down here but I had schedule conflicts on the Austin and DFW area
600s. I did go out for the DFW 1000 over memorial day weekend out of
Italy, TX, but that was the ride that my left crank taper rounded out after
321 miles.
