Fathers and daughters ... sigh. You are a lucky man. Mine turned 13 a month ago and, despite that, is doing pretty well. She is winding up 3 weeks with family friends (well, friends of her mother) at their cabin in the Minnesota lake country, and last week she called and left a sweet message telling me she missed me.
