I used Shimano SPD for a long time but started getting hot spots and wanted
a bit more float. I've been using Time ATAC for a decade now and have been
very happy with them. My favorite shoe is the Specialized Taho, which has
been very comfortable both on and off the bike. I busted a rib on a remote
mtb ride and walked out about 10 miles in the Tahos without any foot
problems.
