My AHH that ships today has a Mark's Rack on it (I think Keven held the last one for me). I'm going to use it on the rear to support a Nigel Smythe Country Bag. I was told that it's very solid and quiet.
That 2 strut thing looks really odd to me. If you ever find yourself wanting a great porteur-style rack get a Pass&Stow. I have one on my Kogswell and love it. It's incredibly well made and Matt will make you one in black or chrome.
