Remember when I trashed my fork driving into my carport a while back?
Well, Joe Bell sent back the finished fork this week. Matches the 5
year old paint on my frame exactly. Filling in the deck-o-cards
cutouts inside the blades was a bonus - I did not ask for that! What
an amazing painter Joe is! Chris Bishop set the crown race last night.
Got sneak peek at his latest - a traditional touring rig. What an
amazing builder Chris is! I'll need some spacers to fill in the
extended steer tube gap, and will post final photos when it's back on
the road. Well worth the wait and investment!
