There are 22.2 mm cross/interrupter levers available. They come with shims for 23.8 mm. So they'd fit up.
However, I can't imagine how they'd fit ergonomically. Cross/interrupter levers are curved away from the bar, to fit in the top of a drop bar. On a straight or Alba bar, that curve would make them a far reach from anywhere besides a very narrow area, near the clamp. They'd function fine and safely, but I don't know if you'd consider them an improvement. Looks like Garth made them work right next to the clamp, with reverse brake levers and thumb shifters. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/rbw-owners-bunch/8o41wXlzR0Q But it doesn't look like they're accessible in the "low aero position" at the very front of the curves. (FQA: Albatross bars have 22.2 "MTB/BMX" grip diameter, Albastache bars have 23.8 "road" grip diameter.) -Tim On Sun, Nov 30, 2014 at 10:42 PM, Tony DeFilippo <[email protected]> wrote: > I feel like I've seen a picture of this done but I can't remember > where...
