Two questions for this knowledgeable group: 1. Has anyone put one of the Sun Race thumbies <http://www.rivbike.com/product-p/sh3.htm> that Riv sells or Falcon thumbies <http://store.velo-orange.com/index.php/falcon-friction-thumb-shifters.html>($12!) that VO sells on a stem? 2. Is there any difference between right and left on these thumbies, other than direction. That is, do they pull different lengths of cable?
