Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires are the absolute best. I rode my last one until you could see a line of the blue belt all the way around the tire. I've gotten over 15,000 miles on all the ones I've had. I've only had one legitimate flat in two complete sets of the tires; my last set had zero flats including even this particular incident:
